Yes, completely. Every picture, sound and fact is inside the app. You can use it in Airplane Mode, on a plane or underground, with nothing missing.
There is a sound control on the globe screen. Your choice is remembered.
Open Field notes on any animal. Every substantive fact shows its source, and each source names the exact revision it was taken from, so it stays checkable even after the original article changes.
No, and the app says so. The habitats and animals are made images, composed like plates in a natural history folio. They are kept separate from the facts on purpose: the pictures bring beauty, the words bring proof.
Yes. New plates are added at the end of the atlas as they are finished, never before. Existing plates keep their numbers.
Please tell us. Send the plate number or the animal's name, and what you saw. Corrections to facts are taken seriously and go out in the next update.
